Description
Having been a strong admirer of Mucha for about ten years (by the time I began drawing, actually), I actually grew interested in the Art Nouveau movement only two years ago, though never daring to try my hand at it.
However, when I came across *syrinxfox's Siren Nouveau, it was somehow love at first sight, and I thought I just had to give it a try.
Can't get much credit for this, so.
I think this is nothing but a drawing version of Syrinxfox's photography, as well as my first time trying copic-like corean markers.
And that's what the title stands for:
Two firsts:
- First time trying Art nouveau
- First time trying copic-like markers
Three don'ts:
- Don't try using these markers on regular, printer paper. The ink is doomed to dribble.
- Don't try to draw at 3 am. Your eyes are not open enough to check all the mistakes you might have made. And ew, there are a LOTS of mistakes in this drawing.
- Don't ever use this cheap black ink pen for the lineart. It looks horrible and tries my patience.
Well, I guess that's been quite an instructive drawing in the end...
